A Toast to Tradition. Trifon Zarezan Celebrated with Great Success in Prague
On February 12th, the Bulgarian Embassy in Prague became a vibrant hub of culture and networking as it hosted the traditional Trifon Zarezan holiday celebration. The event was a resounding success, bringing together over 70 valued guests representing 12 different nations, highlighting the strong international bonds fostered by the Czech-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce.

The evening commenced with warm welcome speeches from:
· H.E. Dantcho Mitchev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Czech Republic.
· Mr. Todor Kraevski, President of the Czech-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce.
· Mr. Petar Stanchev, Vice-President of the Czech-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce.

In a particularly engaging address, Mr. Petar Stanchev spoke passionately about the deep roots of Bulgarian viticulture, noting a tradition of winemaking that spans over 5,000 years. He captivated the audience with a vivid presentation of the evening’s selection: 11 distinct wines from the "Four Friends Winery." These premium wines were available in abundance, allowing guests to experience the rich heritage and modern excellence of Bulgarian wine production.

The event served as a wonderful platform for strengthening professional ties and celebrating the enduring friendship between our nations through the universal language of fine wine.
